SecureCuff™ - High-Risk Offender Monitoring

The SecureCuff™ is designed to work with the ReliAlert™XC and ReliAlert™ GPS devices to provide increased security when monitoring high-risk offenders. The SecureCuff™ has encased stainless steel bands that have been customer tested with 4-foot bolt cutters and provide extreme cut-resistance. The cuff includes fiber-optic technology for tamper notification and specialized security screws to secure the strap to the device. Even if the offender manages to cut through the first steel band, the fiber-optic cable will be compromised and an alarm immediately triggered. The offender will still need more time to cut through the second band, giving officers time to successfully respond to and prevent a potential “cut and run.”
